Your Role as Senior Regional Sales Leader

As a Senior Regional Sales Leader, you'll play a pivotal role in driving business development and project sales in the government sector. Your responsibilities will encompass the following:

  • Build Strong Relationships: Cultivate effective business relationships and articulate the full range of solutions and services to align with customer business objectives.

  • Prospect and Connect: Visit potential customers within local government bodies, establishing connections and identifying opportunities.

  • Key Decision Makers: Target and engage with key decision makers, forging positive relationships that lead to successful sales.

  • Progress Monitoring: Keep a close eye on account plan progress, staying informed about market conditions, customer needs, and competitive activities, and provide regular updates.

  • Seal the Deal: Present and close sales opportunities with government customers, demonstrating your expertise in security, fire, automation, and networking solutions.

  • Industry Insights: Stay updated on security, fire, automation (IBMS), and networking industry trends to better understand customer goals, operations, challenges, and requirements.

  • Collaborative Approach: Collaborate with end users, architects, and consultants to design and implement Fire, Safety, Security, and Automation solutions tailored to their needs.

  • Strategic Planning: Map government bodies within the region and formulate a plan with your team to develop business with these accounts.

  • Sales Leadership: Lead your team to achieve both individual and organizational sales targets, focusing on monthly goals and devising effective strategies.

Candidate Profile We're Looking For

To excel in this role, you should possess the following qualifications and qualities:

  • Educational Background: A graduate degree in Electronics, Electronics & Communication, or Computers is preferred. An MBA in Marketing is a plus.

  • Government Sector Experience: Candidates with prior experience in the government sector will be given priority.

  • Security Systems Expertise: A minimum of 12-15 years of experience in the security systems industry is required.

  • Strong Network: Established relationships with PWD and CPWD will be a significant advantage.

  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills and proficiency in English and Hindi are essential.

  • Sales Acumen: A proven track record of 10+ years in corporate sector sales, with strong techno-commercial skills.

  • Customer-Centric: The ability to identify customer needs, effectively communicate solutions, and position Howell as the provider of choice.

  • Negotiation Skills: Demonstrated expertise in sales negotiation and closing techniques.

  • Team Leadership: Previous experience in leading and building teams is a must.

  • Travel Flexibility: Be prepared for travel within North India.

  • IT Hardware/Networking Knowledge: Familiarity with IT hardware and networking is a valuable asset.
