The Role: Sr. Accounts & Finance Manager
As the Sr. Accounts & Finance Manager, you will be at the helm of our financial operations, leading a team of talented accountants and financial consultants. Your role will be pivotal in driving our financial strategy, ensuring that our operations are not only efficient but also aligned with our long-term business goals.
Key Responsibilities
Finance:
- Strategic Oversight: Lead all financial activities, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting, ensuring that our financial strategies are aligned with business objectives.
- Financial Analysis: Conduct detailed financial analyses to provide actionable insights to senior management, helping shape the company’s future direction.
- Risk Management: Identify and manage financial risks, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and maintaining strong relationships with auditors and financial institutions.
- KPI Implementation: Oversee the development and monitoring of key financial performance indicators to track our progress and drive improvement.
Accounts:
- Accounting Leadership: Manage all accounting activities, including accounts payable and receivable, general ledger, and tax filings. Ensure that our processes are efficient, accurate, and compliant with all standards.
- Month-End and Year-End Closing: Lead these critical processes, ensuring timely and accurate completion.
- Policy Implementation: Develop and enforce accounting policies that promote accuracy and compliance within the team.
- Team Mentorship: Lead and mentor a team of accountants, fostering a collaborative and high-performing work environment.
Specific Accounts Responsibilities:
- Tax Compliance: Oversee GST, Income Tax, and TDS compliance, ensuring that all filings are accurate and timely.
- Bank Reconciliation: Conduct regular reconciliations to ensure accuracy in financial records.
- Software Proficiency: Maintain a thorough understanding of accounting software like Tally, Busy, and ERP systems to ensure seamless operations.
Qualifications
We’re looking for a highly experienced professional with:
- A BCom/MCom/CA/ICWA degree or equivalent experience.
- 10-15 years in a senior finance role with a proven track record of success.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to mentor and inspire a team.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite and advanced financial modeling tools.
- In-depth knowledge of GST, Income Tax, TDS, and other taxation laws.
