Position: Procurement Head
Location: Gurgaon
Roles and Responsibilities:
Coordinates all activities relating to procurement of medicines in a Retail pharmacy including storage, inventory, and quality management of supplies.
Spends a lot of time interacting with people representing Pharma Companies and their suppliers.
Reviews purchase orders and other documentation drafted by procurement and ensures they are accurate as per Purchase order cycle
Develops relationships with suppliers and distributors of medicines and negotiates for suitable prices.
Is responsible for drug procurement and inventory control at retail Level. (Active Inventory turnaround)
follow the prescribed legal policies regarding purchasing, storage and distribution of drugs in a Retail Setup.
Daily focus on increasing Gross margin at company level
Managing healthy sales to Inventory ratio at store level
Managing Cash Flows inline with Inventory and healthy credit days
Day to day monitoring of Non-Moving stock and regular inventory turnaround
Planning purchase order based on sales forecasting at company level
Desired Candidate Profile
Minimum 5+ years of procurement experience in pharmacy chain
Strong Analytical skills to demonstrate data-based decisions
Strong network with Pharma companies and pharma Suppliers
Qualification: Graduation/PG/MBA
Salary: Negotiable/Open/Not a Constraint/Best in the Industry
Working Days : 6 days working
Working Hours : 9:30 am to 6:30 pm
